While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.

As a young woman aspiring to become a veterinarian, I attained both a BS in Biology and an AAS in Veterinary Technology. I enjoyed tutoring fellow students during my college career, as it allowed me to reinforce the material in my own mind and also to earn a little extra income. After compressing 2 years’ of material into one year to obtain my AAS degree, I decided to enter the workforce instead of continuing my education further. How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story.
