A Little Bit About Me...

Hello! My name is Evan Levine and I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in music performance at the University of Michigan. Originally from New Jersey, I have been teaching students between the ages of 6-18 for over 8 years in both private and group settings. I have taught a range of music styles, including; Rock, Jazz, Pop, Country and Classical music. I am also proficient in Music Theory and Music History and would be able to supplement that with instrument instruction.
I believe that learning repertoire that the student is interested in is the fastest way to develop a passion for music. Positive encouragement is key, and I believe the teachers' job is to guide their students in what they want to do.
