I have a few years of experience in tutoring! I have tutored elementary students, middle school, high school, and even college! My passion is learning but I have a talent for teaching. I have two little boys (9 months and 2 years) My oldest son knows his alphabet and how to count to 20! My teaching style is VERY approachable. I like to break down elaborate concepts and apply them directly to everyday occurrences as much as possible. For example, when I would teach middle school students math such as fractions and percentages, I would relate these to money so as not complicate understanding. My life has been filled with teaching and working with children. At the age of ninteen as a very young mother I felt a sense of duty in teaching my children how to achive higher than they can ever have imagined. My teaching style is thus: First engage the student about what subject he likes, engage in small talk and then tutor the assignments. ALways praise the student and point his or her strong abilities and plus tell the student they can do this assignment. First I let the student try the assignment and then I will jump in and help.
