I love biology. You will too. My students will become experts in their fields, but they are not there yet. It is not my style to throw them in the deep end and hope they can hear me yelling commands. It is my style to jump in and swim with them until they take off on their own.
It is my desire to teach because it is here that I can know my students and personally be a part of their success. Many of them will become successful and stay in the community. I will see them in the supermarket. I will always be reminded of whether I have done my job. Others will go on to four year schools and become research scientists. Those I will read about to my next group of students. I have twenty years experience teaching biology, environmental science, anatomy and physiology and other life sciences.
