12 years of Latin experience, 4 years of teaching/tutoring experience, BA in Classics from the University of Michigan, MA in Classics from the University of Chicago, currently an advanced PhD student in Classics at the University of Chicago. I am an advanced PhD student in Classics at the University of Chicago and have been teaching introductory and intermediate college level Latin courses since 2010. In addition to teaching during the regular school year, I have spent three summers as an instructor and course assistant in the University of Chicago's intensive summer program in Latin and Greek. These summer courses were attended by a wide range of students, from 9th graders to PhD students to high school teachers. I have also tutored at both the high school and college level. I believe in tailoring my teaching to the needs, unique interests, and learning style of the individual students.
