I have had experience tutoring and teaching Algebra I and II from a being a teacher. I feel very comfortable with all types of math. I have worked in small and large group environments to one-on-one. From the engineering background, I have insight into real world uses for math. While working as an engineer, I taught skiing and group fitness class, two very diverse groups of people to work with. I am a senior in high school. I have taken a range of different classes and I am able to help students understand what is being taught. I must admit that my experience with teaching is limited, however I love to sit down with groups of children and help them to discover new concepts and ways to learn the subject matter. I grew up reading the nutritional panel on everything. I was absolutely fascinated how the body used the food that we eat to derive the energy and perform the tasks necessary for life.
