In high school I helped tutor younger children. My freshmen year of college I volunteered as a tutor at Ely Chapman. I am currently a teaching assistant for an Anatomy lab. All of my experience has been one-on-one tutoring and I typically take a hands on approach to learning. I am presently working as a substitute teacher. I am certified to teach mathematics in 7th to 12th grades. I have recently passed the Praxis II tests to teach science in 7th to 12th grades. Some learn by seeing it. They have to see it and then maybe write it and learn by visualizing. Some learn by listening. They can listen to a lecture and hang on to every word.
