My style is very visual with a lot of repetition and practice.
I have over 15 years experience in many areas of teaching from Adult Sign Language classes to Pre-kindergarten hearing. I have taught both hearing elementary students and deaf students of all ages. I have also taught overseas. I was a certified ASL interpreter until last year when my certification expired. I am currently teaching in an International program for students ages 13 to 22.

I don't have much experience tutoring children. I am a freshman at Western New England University majoring in elementary educating with a focus in math. I always had a very good understanding for math and was always good working with other kid and helping them learn the subject. As A recent graduate from a Liberal Arts School, I found it easy to connect with teaching as my calling. I have always driven for high levels of excellence in and outside the classroom and work force. Having an English and Philosphy background, I find it easy to critically think and annotate extensively works of literature. And from that I find that my skills are up to par due to writing research papers and annotating other people's work. I have 11 years of teaching experience in various settings. I have taught in public and private schools. For six years, I was a lead teacher in a Montessori Elementary classroom. After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers. My skills as an educator served me well and I did extremely well. After approximately 8 years I decided I wanted to go back to teaching, and have been teaching the use of computers.
