I have a background in Psychology, so I am extremely intuitive with what a person needs regarding their learning style. I am able to adapt my teaching style to their needs. Patience is something that I have learned over the years, so I am able to work well with those who just need a little extra attention. One of my greatest talents is being able to put myself in another's shoes, and therefore understand why it is something is not clicking. I graduated in June 2009 with my Master’s in Elementary Education as well as my Texas teaching certification. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I completed my student teaching experience in the second grade as well as completed a long term substitute teaching experience in the second grade classroom as well.
