I am currently a semi-retired land surveyor and former TCU instructor (in computer science). As a land surveyor, I use algebra and numerical trigonometry on a daily basis, and, as a result, have a strong working knowledge of the level of math that appears in most pre-algebra and algebra courses. However, at the same time, I understand that math concepts can sometimes be difficult for people, and have the patience to work through these difficulties, as well as ideas about how to present material so that it is more easily understood. I have experiencing teaching struggling students. I have taught TAKS prep class and Remediation classes I have been teaching since 2004.
