My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : Very Strong

My favorite teaching style is the classical Black Board style that may involve Power Point presentations. I am very patient with my students and like to believe that I have the capability to make every student learn.
I did an Undergraduate in Science with an honors in Chemistry, followed by an M.Sc. in Biochemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry. I was actively involved in Cancer Research in the Department of Biochemistry and have authored over 40 publications. Although I have expertise in Chemistry and Biochemistry, I have a passion for Math that includes Algebra 1 &2 , Pre-calculus, and Geometry.

I am currently a semi-retired land surveyor and former TCU instructor (in computer science). As a land surveyor, I use algebra and numerical trigonometry on a daily basis, and, as a result, have a strong working knowledge of the level of math that appears in most pre-algebra and algebra courses.
