My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : I have worked with companies whose major focus was to increase math and science scores. I have found visual aids are an effective way to teach math and other subjects. Because my educational background is mathematically and science based, most of my tutoring experiences are in the subjects of math and science.

I have previously worked for an in-home tutoring service where I helped students improve their grades in various subject areas that presented difficulty. The students I have tutored in the past were either in middle or high school. I also have experience as a GED instructor, and one of the best feelings in the world is helping someone receive their GED. I have worked with students that were not as enthusiastic to see me as I was to tutor or teach. Sometimes the students were not very motivated, but our goal was to increase productivity and grades.
