I worked as a career counselor for 16 years. I was able to be a tutor for 6 years during this period. During those 6 years, I worked with high school students and tutured them in basic math. This period was very rewarding. Seeing the students go from third or fourth grade level of math to seventh or eigth grade level of math was a natural high for this students.
