Learned sign-language hands on from my deaf neighbors.I speak fluent with letters and know most of basic words and actions.Basic nouns and verbs.I learned the full alphabet very fast,so my neighbors taught me how to say words without spelling them out.It was very challenging at first, but now flows like speaking English.

I believe that every child has the unalienable right to experience some success each and every day of their lives. My approach is hands-on, student centered and nurturing. I have always loved to learn. In college, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Biology. However, I made it a point to minor in Chemistry and Linguistics and to certify in American Sign Language. I have always had the desire to achieve the highest goals I could set for myself. While taking on the classes mentioned above, I learned great organizational skills and drive. I helped students at the University whenever they needed it.
