I am a recent college graduate from Ashland University with a degree in communication and French. While at Ashland as well as in high school, I was involved in peer tutoring programs. In high school, I tutored a second year student in French, mainly in grammatical concepts. In terms of mathematics, I was always a strong student in math. I completed algebra and geometry courses throughout high school. I was also a strong student in history. A Little Bit About Me...

As a music Education major, I studied the vocal techniques and instruments of piano, flute and piccolo. I have studied piano since age four - which is 28 years - from a private teacher by the name of Judy Nihlen. I have also been a member of a French Sorority in college, speaking almost fluent French. I have composed several musical compositions growing up and all throughout college. I arranged choral piece by W. A. Mozart from a Mozart aria. I also starred in an opera my sophomore year of college. I did all this while suffering from Aspergers disorder and tics due to tourettes syndrome and ADHD.

A Little Bit About Me...

I started playing piano at the age of two. This was do to the fact that my grandmother was a professional piano instructor. I completed eight years of Music through the School on The following Instruments, Mallet Percussion, Trombone, Piano, Minor Voice. After completing High school I returned to the school the following year to help instruct the Music department. I then relocated and assisted the high school with teaching their Mallet percussion and helping with individual performances. I feel my style of teaching is one of being a facilitator. I choose to interact with the student by asking questions so enabling them to reach the answer through their own thinking processes.
