A Little Bit About Me...

I have been doing accounting work for the last eleven years. I have done G/L, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax Preparation. I have most of my old books that can be used as references and usually it doesn't take a lot to get your mind set back into accounting. Speaking is one of my top subjects!

I have been teaching a variety of subjects for over twenty years. My background is in agriculture which includes science, math, leadership, and mechanics. I have strong experience in Biology and Earth Sciences as a result. I have also taught general science including biology, earth science, chemistry, astronomy, physics, and life science. Taking the fear out of testing, one session at a time

Currently I am tutoring Biology (among other sciences) as well as English at Pueblo Community College. I have been there for close to a half of a year at this point. I also have a 15 year old son who is in the IB program at Palmer. He does very well in school, I like to attribute that partially to my skills. A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience working with both audio/visual learners and a kinesthetic/tactile learner. The kinesthetic/tactile learner had learning disabilities akin to ADD, but still did very well in the small group environment. I believe that children who want to learn will do so given the proper setting and sufficient time to succeed. I have very high patience for children who try hard and still struggle, but I do expect the student to give their best effort at each task.
