I took many maths, financials, physics, statistics, among other courses. During my college time, I become a tutor and then a teacher assistant. When I finished college I started working and focused on my career and building a family. I have two boys now. One day my older boy needed help with math and I was so happy I could help him. Math is a tool for success, not to frighten people.

During my years at MSU, I tutored for the math department both in their help lab and as one of their recommended private tutors. Also during my final year working toward my degree I worked at Sylvan teaching children from 2nd grade through 12th. During the summer of 2013, I had the opportunity to work toward a teacher certification by volunteering at Hirschi High School. After attaining my degree, I began working at Mathnasium. In Chicago, I served as the director of training for two years. Now that I am back in Wichita Falls, I am the assistant director of the local branch of Mathnasium.
