I enjoy helping student evolve by providing a different way of receiving information and simple follow up techniques to assure reception and retention of information. I have worked with children and adults and enjoy the opportunity to encourage a student who feel that all hope is loss. I enjoy seeing students make progress, not only in academics, but also in learning life lessons from their study. I believe this is the real vocation of a teacher. Any metods can be used to teach such as TV documentaries, radio, activities and even movies with specific lessons about life. Information is only as good as what it is used for. Therefore, I always make sure the student has formed an opinion about how the material can be used by him/her. I have taught ESL in China for more than 4 years. I feel that teaching will not only inform young minds to think differently or make them more motivated to learn. But to allow one to master his or her knowledge in general, teaching allows oneself to fully understand the subject in their own minds. Young minds such as children are easily impacted by an adult, which I feel that that should be influenced with positive, enjoyable learning. Allowing a young mind to like learning or studying will allow them to become very motivated individuals in life.
