Saxophonist Hart Linker is committed to presenting contemporary saxophone music to 21st century listeners both in live performance and also through the world wide web. A native of Athens Georgia, Hart's performance highlights from the 2011-2012 season include solo performances featuring the saxophone and electronics at the 2012 International Saxophone Symposium (hosted by the United States Navy), State Botanical Gardens of Georgia (Athens, Georgia), Classical Revolution ATL Concert-Series, Eyedrum Contemporary Art/Music Series (Atlanta), Cine Theater/Bar (Athens), and the Mount Vernon Flower Mart (Baltimore). Hart has obtained a Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from Ithaca College, and a High School Diploma from the North Carolina-School of the Arts. He has studied saxophone with Mr. Gary Louie, Dr. Steven Mauk, and Dr. James Kalyn.
