Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I have a Masters degree in Reading as well as a K through 12 Reading Endorsement. I have also tutored many students at all grade levels including college in Reading. Additionally, I have worked with Dyslexic students. Students need the basic foundation skills before moving on.

My comments on tutoring Dyslexia : Reading and spelling is taught using the Orton-Gillingham approach. This method is perfect for students with Learning Disabilities, dyslexia, ADHD/ADD, and language processing problems. I use materials from the Wilson Reading System for their ease and low cost to parents. I have a love for learning and teaching!

I have been teaching special education for six years. I taught special education to kindergarten through third grade in a Montessori school for four years. I have experience in teaching students with disabilities in reading, writing, and math. I retired in June after 32 years.
