I am a Mechanical Engineering and Geology dual major with a 3.6 GPA. I understand mathematics very well and have tutored fellow students in math and physics, successfully for years. My comments on tutoring Study Skills : I have worked with many children and adolescents over the years with ADHD, however, I must say that my most substantial experience has come from raising two boys with ADHD. My 19 year old was diagnosed (formally) at age 6 and has ADHD Combined Type. My 15 year old was diagnosed at an older age, mainly due to his having ADHD Inattentive Type. I began learning everything there was to learn about ADHD, its symptoms, treatment, and learning styles. I have been to many conferences and trainings and have tested and used many different techniques of teaching and handling academics, study skills, organizational skills, behavioral issues, planning, reminding, and other areas of executive functions.

I have over 30 years of experience with infants, children, adolescents, and families, including work with infants and children in development of age appropriate skills.
