Editor who can make you the best journalist possible!

It has been my experience that students (regardless of age) learn best when the lessons can be adapted to things that are relevant to their lives. Journalism takes in every aspect of life, so whether it is 3D printing, gardening or politics learning to apply the tenets of journalism makes one a better writer and thinker.

A Little Bit About Me...

The advantage of one-on-one tutoring is the productive, personal relationship that arises between tutor and student. As a tutor, I use this relationship to make lessons more fun and more significant. Rather than providing a mundane and meaningless list of facts, I explain the significance of the material by linking specific principles to larger themes. I attended Whitney Young High School and began tutoring while in school as a part of my volunteer service with the National Honor Society. I continued to teach while in college, and in fact, worked as a tutor part time. After college, I moved to Japan for one year and worked as an English teacher. When I returned to the United States, while attending law school, I was employed as a tutor for the LLM students.
I really love kids and I enjoy working with them. Throughout my years of experience, I have worked with students of all ages, from pre-school to adults. I understand that each person has their own unique style of learning, and I pride myself on being able to reach each student.
