With my years of being around and in an educational environment, I have picked up patterns of repetition and summary to reinforce ideas being conveyed. I, myself, learn best by doing. Through studying adult learning styles, I discovered that studies show utilizing all facets of learning - writing, audio, visual, and hands on - leads to the highest levels of retention. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelor's degree in English Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno, and am currently in the process of applying to graduate school for Creative Writing. During the past year, I have tutored part-time as a writing tutor through the in-home tutoring company Study Buddies. Recently, I have had work published in the University of Nevada's "Brushfire" literary magazine and the Nevada Historical Society's archive.
