As a computer science teaching assistant I was often presenting students with their first experience in a new field, as a result, I have adapted a teaching style which draws upon my background in the sciences to offer real life examples and helpful tidbits to further a students understanding. I am patient and equipped to adapt to student's differing needs. I enjoy working with students of all ages and truly wish to help students learn and enjoy their educations. After earning a bachelor degree in Mathematics/Statistics I entered graduate school with the intention of going into the Computer Science field. While in college, I took numerous creative writing classes that utilized workshop and group editing techniques. As a result, I have learned how to give constructive criticism and how to help others improve their writing without compromising their own unique style and voice.
