Math is a tool for success, not to frighten people.

With the experiences of Sylvan, Mathnasium, and High School lessons under my belt, I have combined the best aspects that each has to offer. Rather than holding a student's hand through a lesson and letting them develop a learned helplessness that can add to test anxiety, I use Socratic questioning to help people make important conclusions about topics so that they retain what they are seeing. Through a combination of practice and discussion, I strive to build confidence as well as skill so that students can go forward into their mathematical endeavors.

I took many maths, financials, physics, statistics, among other courses. During my college time, I become a tutor and then a teacher assistant. When I finished college I started working and focused on my career and building a family. I have two boys now. One day my older boy needed help with math and I was so happy I could help him.
