Following my graduation from the University of Connecticut I pursued a career in the insurance industry but have also spent time working as a youth group leader and worked as a part-time tutor for several years. While living in Connecticut I tutored homebound high school age children who were either out on medical leave or expelled for disciplinary purposes. I am proud to report that in addition to several other students, I provided tutoring for a full course load covering an entire year for one expelled student who improved grades in every course and went on to graduate. A Little Bit About Me...

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school and now that I have graduated I am excited to finally live out my childhood dreams. I am very enthusiastic, patient, and creative. A Little Bit About Me...

I always knew I wanted to work with children, and have taken various jobs in the educational field. I worked in a daycare center during college. I have also been a substitute teacher and worked a in summer school program for children with autism. I have a B.A. in psychology with a minor in sociology from UConn.
