I am extremely passionate about the education of our youth, and I believe that it is the foundation of a growing society. I currently hold an associate’s degree from Grand Rapids Community College in applied arts as well as an associate’s degree from Davenport University in accounting. I will also graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting on April 25, 2010. I worked for over three years for the Boardwalk Fitness Center where I was the general manager in charge of over 20 employees. After graduating with a mathematics undergraduate degree in 1998, I have continued to study all areas of mathematics for the last 12 years. I have passed numerous actuarial exams that cover advanced mathematic topics as well as becoming a charterholder in the CFA Institute in 2009.
