I believe in allowing the student to work most of the problems out for themselves. While explaining the rules of a particular word problem or paper topic is important, the student will only learn if he or she is able to come to the right conclusion through dedicating the time and effort into the project that they are working on. While I was a Rotary Exchange Student – South Africa | 1999-2000, I volunteered to tutor students of various ages every subject, except Afrikaans, and was very pleased with their progress, and enjoyed it.
