My comments on tutoring Grammar : I worked as a teacher in a private school for children with dyslexia. My position was as a Language Fundamentals Teacher and I was trained using the Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching. This is a multi-sensory approach and very highly regarded as a successful approach for children with dyslexia and reading disabilities. It includes tutoring for reading, reading comprehension, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and other skills related to English basics. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from Vanderbilt University with a specialization in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Both of my educational careers involved extensive training related to infant and child development, special needs and high-risk infant, child, adolescent, and family populations, and internships within numerous developmental centers, schools, and hospitals.

I have worked with children and adolescents for over 30 years in various capacities and not only have a substantial amount of experience in varying types of special needs, but have very good rapport with children of all ages. Currently I'm a high school student at Lincoln Charter school in Denver. Ever since I started High school I've taken all honors classes, and graduated those classes with 90's and above. Right now I'm currently taking college writing class 111 and 112 in the 11th Grade. I take AP U.S. History. I enjoy reading and writing in my free time. Language, Grammar, Punctuation and Writing comes very naturally to me. Currently in my College writing class I have a 98%.
I can accommodate to what is best for your learning needs, I do not like tutoring online. Face to face is better; I like to know who I'm teaching on a personal level in order to make them comfortable when learning. Learning should be a fun process, not stressful!
