My comments on tutoring Math : I have taught and tutored math for over 20 years

I have taught and tutored mathematics for over 20 years. I was selected as my school's Teacher of the Year and one of two Teachers of the Year in my school district. I have taught SAT and ACT Math Prep at two different college preparatory schools. I have a master's degree in education and I am certified to teach mid-level, intermediate, and advanced mathematics in the state of Oklahoma.

My experience, knowledge and skills are multifaceted and reach far beyond the classroom experience. I have utilized my skills since before I graduated college in 1992, while working with 'at risk' youth in a group home placement. I am proficient in teaching various life skills; ie., communication skills, problem solving skills, decision making skills, drug and alcohol abuse programs, and, anger management, are among the many I have taught.
