This is my ninth year of teaching. I taught second grade for three years and in my sixth year of special education. I hold a masters degree form GVSU in Eduational Leadership. I meet the student and work around their specific needs. If they are more energetic then I find things that will not only help them learn but will also allow them to use some of their excess energy. However if the student is more laid back I find more calm and relaxing ways to help them understand. I have a rewards system that allows the student to earn tickets that they can later use to get things that they can use.
