Experience Summary
I am currently in my 4th year of professional teaching experience and had 2 years of field experience while in college. In this time, I have worked with students across grade levels from elementary, middle, and high school in both classroom and one one tutoring settings. As a special education teacher, I have worked with students with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, emotional impairments, Austism spectrum disorder, and cognitive impairments. I have also spent a great deal of time working with general education students.
Teaching Style
I am a high energy teacher who likes students to get hands on with their learning. My special education background has given me many remedial techniques and strategies to get students up to grade level.
My Hobbies
My favorite way to spend my free time is with my wife and my 3 month old son. I also enjoy playing with my dog, exercising, reading, playing board games, and playing the guitar.
