I have taught middle grades from 1998-2003. I have taught special education to special adults from 2003-2011. In this last teaching job, I had a few individuals who I helped with some classes of the GED through the Rankin County Schools. I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education. I loved working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, but it was extremely hard finding a job doing that in my area. Due to that fact, I started tutoring as many kids from the local schools as much as possible and I loved doing it. That also motivated me to work on adding endorsements to my teaching license so that I can teach regular education as well.
