I believe all children can enjoy eating broccoli. I find this works best if the broccoli is smothered with cheese and accompanied on the plate with something fried. I have found that overeating is a very effective way to teach the student dangerous gastric consequences. I demonstrate this by ordering pizza, allowing them to eat as much as they want, and then immediately afterwards giving them free reign to various quarts of ice cream. I know I can make a difference in every students' stomach.
After graduating cum laude from Yale University with a PhD in Eating, I interned for two years at Dunkin Donuts, fine tuning my skills in eating pastries. In my current job, I feel I am a strong trainer because I am able to determine people's learning styles. By determining their style, I am able to train them in the way that they will learn more quickly. In tutoring, I would have the skills to determine how the child will learn the information. Some children might work better by watching someone else solve the problem while explaining the steps. Some might learn by just reading a complete step-by-step process. Some students may want to try the problem on their own, and then explained where they went wrong. They may also want a combination, by doing the problem themselves while the tutor talks them through.
