My comments on tutoring Piano : I have been playing piano/keyboards for 41 years, touring performer with a multitude of bands and have shared the stage with many legendary recording acts. Trained in classical, pop, rock, gospel and some blues. I customize my lessons to individual needs. Level, "series" books and theory to learning chords. Also songwriting and arrangement. I teach all ages, 5 years to 90!

Piano/keyboard instructor, all ages and styles. I customize lessons to the objectives of my students and place major emphasis on dynamics, rhythm (timing) and style; three elements that make the difference between an average player vs. an exceptional one. Currently teach 35 students exclusively at Warner Robins Music. We have 2 recitals annually. Lessons are 1/2 sessions, $70 paid up front for a block of 4 lessons each. No contracts. Additionally, I have over 25 years experience in the music business as a producer, songwriter and performer. I took lessons from Louise Barfield my Freshman and Sophomore years in high school. I currently take lessons from Tom Rule. I have been the pianist at my church for almost three years. I have won awards at Literary Competitions for playing the piano. I have accompanied the chorus at my school.

I have gone through a lot of different experiences throughout life, and I'm more than happy to help and share those experiences if you'd allow me. I started playing piano at a very young age (7 years old) and afterwards started to pick up other instruments along the way which resulted in all county for Tuba (3rd chair 2010) and in that same year becoming a drum major. I've learned much about music theory, as well as keeping up with every other course I selected while in school. I have experience in the military and with that comes a level of professionalism that can easily be seen once eyes are set upon me. I have twenty-three years of experience teaching elementary music and seven years of teaching middle and high school music, chorus, and drama. I am very flexible in my teaching style and have helped students who learn in very different ways. While I was working with the Reading by the River program I worked with four different students each of which learned in very different ways. From this I learned at a very early time in my life that it is crucial to cater to each individual students needs.
