My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : I have been using and teaching Microsoft Excel for twenty years.

I am extremely patient and clear. In my mind, there is no such thing as someone who cannot learn; it is my job to adjust my teaching style for multiple learning styles. Because I also have experience working with special needs clients as well as clients in rehabilitation, I am especially capable of dealing with more challenging learning situations. My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : Business computing class.

I believe in success. There is no guarantee someone will learn on the first try. It's all about enjoying the learning experience and positive reinforcement. I also believe in humor and think that it can help a lot in peoples difficult situations.
I have helped tutor AVID high school students when I was a senior at Cherry Creek High School. I enjoy helping the kids learn and believe that being a tutor would pay it forward since I had so much help from tutors. I always helped my friends out because I was in higher level classes than them some of the times. I also worked with tutors and know how much of a difference they can make. I'm currently studying at CSU and still work with friends on homework if they need help.

An enthusiastic tutor with a PhD in chemistry!

I have found through my 6 years of teaching students, that flexibility is a key component. Explaining a difficult concept to a student should be customized to each individual students' needs.
