Elementary School Tutor

I am a very outgoing and energetic but patient teacher. I will often push my student beyond what they believe they are capable of. For example, my lowest kindergarten class by the end of the fourth semester was reading second grade level books and worksheets. My second grade level students were reading by the end of the second semester fourth to sixth grade reads. Would you like to learn French? The best way is to have a real French tutor! I'm from France but I moved in Aiken two years ago for my husband's job. For two years, I studied a Technical Degree with a French Institute. That way, I could still read and write in french so I could never loose my native language. I never been a tutor but my skills in French will allow you to learn this language correctly, and I believe that is the most important thing.
My teaching style will depend on your level in French (beginner, intermediate...) and your goal (improve your written/oral, take a certification etc.) We will play games to give you more vocabulary or we will do some exercices or we will listen a french radio... That's up to you!

Love children and think that all are capable of learning!

I think each child has a different learning style and once you find that they enjoy learning. I like to keep students active and do different projects that they can be creative in doing.
I graduate with my BS in Middle Grades Education on Dec 20th. I am ceritifed in Math and Social Studies and will seek my certification in Language Arts in Jan 2013. I just finished my apprenticeship at a local Middle School and loved every minute of it. I seem to be closer with the students that struggle and need that extra special help.
