My comments on tutoring Chinese : I am a Chinese native speaker. I majored in English Language Teaching and taught English for over seven years in China. So, I'm an expert in Chinese language and I can use my native language to teach either English or Chinese.

My teaching is learner-centered. For the benefits of my students, I employ a communicative approach with the aids of diverse teaching materials that help students understand the culture and society of the target language so that students can use the target language more effectively. Being as a teaching assistant, lab instructor is an important training in my graduate study until I obtained PhD of Chemistry. After graduation, I tutored undergraduate students for their chemistry classes. Tutoring is an efficient way to improve students' understanding and mastering chemistry knowledge. Tutoring is not just a repeat what have been taught in lecture, it is to improve capability of solving problems. Solving one problem would result in knowing how to solve all similar problems.
