I've always believed that children learn by doing. I would rather have my students get real hands-on experience because concepts can be better attained and understood if children get real experience with it. I also believe that children learn differently from one another and a teacher should be able to accommodate the different learning styles of her or his students. One method may not work for a student, so I feel that it is the teacher's responsibility to make sure each student reaches their full potential by finding ways that will work for her/his students and then incorporate these differences in the classroom.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved working with kids and feeling like I am making a difference in someone’s life. I am fun loving and a big kid at heart, but I know how to balance that with hard work and dedication. I feel that art can be a form of rehabilitation in many ways, such as helping a child grieve the loss of a loved one or even as a form of physical rehabilitation as well.
