I tutor Math from the point of view that the shortest path is the best path but everyone learns differently and finding the right method for my students is one of my main goals when tutoring. I teach students multiple ways to solve a particular problems and they get to decide which method works best for them, hopefully its the simplest method. During my undergraduate career at Sacramento State I was able to work as a tutor on campus for the learning skills department. This department offered courses in math and English for incoming students who were not prepared for college level mathematics. I worked as a teachers aid in class and as a tutor in the math department. I also tutored college and high school students outside of school from referrals.
