In 1982-84 I taught Biology to pre-nursing students while attending school for Commercial Art at Fayetteville Community College. I coached personnel on computer skill (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as part of my daily job. I speak, read and write Spanish, college level.

As a graduate with a BS degree in Elementary Education, I have gained knowledge in the practice of teaching elementary school. I have been able to observe classrooms as well as student teach. My teaching style is one of lecture and classroom discussion with teacher and peers. I believe in letting children discover and learn a concept on thier own. After the children have dicscovered the concept and have small understanding of that concept, I will then come in with the lecture and note taking to clarify any misconceptions.
