ACT is one of my top subjects! I believe that people learn the best when they understand the meaning and logic behind what they are learning. When a student can see a pattern develop they develop an understanding that can be universally applied to many different areas of study and life circumstances. Learning is different then memorizing. After completing my degree in 2007 at the University of New Mexico, I moved to Denver, CO and taught for one year at Morey Middle School. Since the school is only 5 blocks from the Capitol building and a multitude of museums and libraries, I was able to tutor a few students from the school in a real-world environment. I have a secondary endorsement in mathematics, and my 24+ credit hours in science allow me to teach general science in Colorado.
