I began tutoring when I was in high school and enjoyed it immensely. When I got to college, I became a German teaching assistant. My favorite part was office hours. I love working with students individually. I earned a bachelor’s degree in German and Linguistics; I also took 16 credits each of biology and chemistry. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Writing from the University of Nevada, Reno, and am currently in the process of applying to graduate school for Creative Writing. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and I love all people. I am an advocate of task-based learning, multiple intelligences, and the all-around inductive/constructivist approach to learning. I am a firm believer in the idea that all people have the same innate capacity to learn, but that this is manifested in different ways.
