As an educator, my philosophy in education is to inspire and to guide students. I am very driven in the education field and it is of great importance to me. When I was a high school student, I tutored pre-algebra, geometry and algebra, Shakespeare, World Literature, and Earth Science. I managed my own clients and improved test scores with every client. During the summer of 2005, I tutored mentally disabled children in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I attended the University of Idaho and have received a B.S. in Mathematics. Working with such a diverse population of students ranging from grades 3-12, I have learned that each child processes information in different ways. Assisting them in overcoming their learning disability has taught me to understand and identify their struggles and how they can work through them.
