Experience Summary
As an educator, my philosophy in education is to inspire and to guide students. I am very driven in the education field and it is of great importance to me. I have earned my Associates of Arts degree, and felt it was necessary to continue on with obtaining a Bachelors degree in order to expand my career options.I furthered my education by adding on my Secondary Teaching Certification, as well as student teaching experience and employment within the Caldwell School District to add to my teaching resume.
Teaching Style
I am a very patient and driven teacher, which I believe are extremely important characteristics. Easy going is a great way to describe my personality, and students seem to sense that from me. It makes for a comfortable learning environment, but I also love having a lot of structure and planning in my methods so that learning stays on track. The educators that I have admired and looked up to all had these approaches when they had taught me, and I appreciated it. That is what I want to pass on to my students.
