My comments on tutoring English ESOL : Fluent, native speaker

I have extensive experience tutoring middle school through high school age students. I began tutoring groups of students as an exchange student in Austria, in 2012, working with 5th through 10th grade students in English at the BRG Koeflach (the local high school) where I was compensated as an official English tutor. In 2013, I assisted in German II, I would take half of the large class of over 30 high school students and teach the lesson for the day. In 2014, I assisted with German II, III and IV classes, answering student questions during lessons and helping in the classroom. Learning through culture and language

I teach in a style which combines different tactics and methods in order to engage the students in the subject. In example, when teaching foreign language I make it a point to incorporate the culture of the native people and their customs along with music and art.
Recently graduated, I have taken four years of Spanish. I first started teaching ESL as a volunteer teacher in my local community in January of 2011. My students were all Spanish-speaking adults. I absolutely loved it! In February on 2012, I completed a CELTA course and became certified to teach adult English learners. I worked for EC Boston from April to October of 2012. My students came from many different countries and spoke so many different languages.
