I teach to my students so they can learn. Each of my students has a different modality of acquiring and retaining information, so I assess that style and present instruction in a way that is meaningful. My work towards a master's degree in special education highlighted the various ways in which a student gains knowledge. I use that information to engage and educate my students.

I started my career at Fairfield University as a Biology student and quickly learned that it was an exciting and very challenging field. For my degree I had to take a year of chemistry, which I immediately fell in love with, even though I had hated it in high school. Teaching is my passion. I earned BA in Spanish Adolescence Education in May of 2011 from The College of Saint Rose and graduated cum laude. I studied at La Universidad Nacional de Córdoba during the summer of 2010 in Córdoba, Argentina. Most recently I have had experience teaching Spanish in high schools around the Albany region.
