I am currently teaching first-year composition as a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati. I have been teaching at UC for two academic years and will graduate with my MA degree in June 2010. Education is a very powerful tool. I enjoy seeing students progress from square one to fully capable musicians. I have been teaching privately for the past two years giving private instruction in piano, french horn, and harp. I will be completing my bachelors in music performance from Ohio State this spring. I also give tutoring in music theory for interested students. I encourage all of my students to abandon what they think they should know for what they already know, and to take it from there.
