Then, from September 1998 to February 2005, I taught French and English at ISTT (Institut des Sciences et Techniques du Tertiaire), a private high school in Sokode. I kept an excellent record of teaching performance till 2005 when I moved to the States. I'm a strong believer in the Gardner's ideas of many different learning styles and types of intelligent. Some students are better audio, tactile, or visual learners. I feel it is the teacher's responsibility to find the best learning style for each student and build on that format through scaffolding. I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models.
