I've been an informal tutor for as long as I can remember. I've tutored my peers and my juniors in English grammar, spelling, vocabulary, writing, composition, essay, formal reports, reading comprehension, and anything else involved in English. I also have formally studied Japanese and tutored in that. Formally, I have worked as an ESL teacher for The Salvation Army. I've been both a classroom teacher and a one-on-one teacher with my students. It's all about you, the students. We all learn differently, so I like to tailor my style to the person I'm teaching. As a tutor, I find that it is important to present the material to the students in a way that they can relate to.
